During the final years of the township’s lease, routine upkeep lapsed and parts of the park became unsafe or unusable. After the lease was cancelled in March 2024, volunteers stepped in to mow, repair, and restore. Each pair of photos shows the same spot: the condition near the end of township management vs. the condition after volunteer-led improvements.
